*이 강연은 2016년 제11회 광주비엔날레의 infra-school 프로그램의 일부이기도 하다.*

셀린 콘도렐리의 작업은 재료들을 통해서 어떠한 변화가 생겨날지에 대한것이다. 그리고 사실은 모든 사람들의 동작변화가 구조의 수많은 부분을 차지하고 있고 영향을 준다고 인지한다. 

«I have been investigating forms of display by problematizing the notion of ‘support’–the physical, economical, social, political structures and infrastructures that correspond to conditions of possibility. I am interested in working with the manifestations of blindness towards them, and do so by re-imagining them through a variety of possible relations between context, exhibition, work and the public; which has in turn allowed the questioning of these categories and the notions they form. This particular attention has developed through installations, exhibitions and publications that foreground display by proposing it as my main artistic medium in both form and subject, through the construction of structures of display, staging devices and framing mechanisms, the apparatuses of visibility that I have come to designate as ‘support structures’.»

셀린 콘도렐리는 런던을 기반으로 황동하는 작가이며 Stenberg Press사에서 2009년 발행된 «Support Structures»의 저자이며 영국 버밍험의 Eastside Project의 설립 디렉터 중의 한명이며 현재 이탈리아 밀라노의 NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti)에 재직중이다. 

그의 최근 전시는 현재 진행중인 전시를 포함하여, 2016년 Eastside Projects 와 Stroom Den Haag, 2015년 bau bau, 밀라노의 HangarBicocca, 영국의 Chisehale Gallery에서의  Céline Condorelli, 네덜란드 Van Abbemuseum의 Positions, 등이 있으며, 출판물을 포함하면 Bookworks의 The Company She Keeps, 라이프치히현대미술관의 baubau, and curating Puppet Show, 스웨덴의 Gävle Konstcentrum, 영국의 Grundy Art Gallery가 있다. 더하여 2013년 아일랜드 더블린의 Project Art Centre, 오스트리아 Grazer Kunstverein, The Parliament, ‘Archive of Disobedience’, Castello di Rivoli, 2012년 SALT Istanbul, 2011-12년 이집트와 오슬로의 Kunstforening “There is nothing left” Alexandria Contemporary Arts Forum 등이 있다.
