Call for Artists: Digital Culture: 국제전 “디지털 컬쳐” 작가 공모

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the International Exhibition on Digital Culture.

*Deadline: May 31, 2016

-Painting

-Sculpture & Installation Art

-Photograph & 2D Digital Art

-Video & Interactive Art

*Installation

-Photographs & 2D Digital Art

Selected works will be printed in 10×15 inches, framed, and installed by our curators & assistants. Please let us know if you have photographs larger than 10×15 inches.

-Video & Interactive Art

We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screen through a projector. Our curators & assistants will install your work(s) according to your installation guidelines. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please contact us at “[email protected].” Additional fees may apply.

-Painting, Sculpture, and Installation Art

The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. The work should be no larger than 39 inch (1 m) on the longest length for a painting and no larger than 59x59x79 inches (1.5 x 1.5 x 2 m, w x l x h) for a sculptural/installation piece.

*How to submit your work:

– Please send us up to 3 direct links to video and/or up to 5 JPG images, and your bio. Please email them to “[email protected].”

– Please write “Submission: Digital Culture – Category – Your Name” in the subject line of your email.

If your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show maintenance fee: $50 (USD) per work.

CICA 미술관 추상 미술 국제전에 참여하실 아티스트들을 공모합니다.

*작품의 설치

선정된 작품은 10×15 inch (25.4cm x 38.1cm) 사이즈로 출력되어 프레이밍되며 CICA 미술관 큐레이터와 스텝이 설치합니다. 다른 사이즈의 작품의 경우 문의 주시기 바랍니다.

– 영상 및 인터렉티브 아트

전시를 위한 프로젝터, DVD/DIVX 플레이어 등이 지원되며 작품은 CICA 미술관의 큐레이터들이 작가님의 가이드라인에 따라 작품을 설치 예정입니다. 작품의 수송에서 발생하는 비용은 작가가 부담합니다. 몇 점의 싱글 채널 비디오 작품들이 한 프로젝터에서 상영될 예정입니다. 작품이 하나의 프로젝터에서 단독으로 설치되어야 하는 경우, 또는 두 대 이상의 프로젝터나 모니터를 필요로 하는 작품의 경우 추가 비용이 발생할 수 있습니다.

-회화 및 조각, 설치 작업

작품의 수송에서 발생하는 비용은 작가가 부담합니다. 회화의 경우 최대 1 m × 1 m의 작품을, 조각, 설치 작업의 경우 최대 1.5m x 1.5m x 2m (w x l x h) 이하의 작품을 공모하실 수 있습니다.

-영상 온라인 링크 3개 이하, JPG 이미지 5개 이하를 간단한 이력 및 자기소개와 함께 “[email protected]”으로 보내주세요.

-이메일 제목 란에 “Digital Culture 공모 -카테고리-작가이름”라고 적어주세요.

선정된 작가는 한 작품당 5만원의 전시 관리 비용을 지불하게 됩니다.
