We perceive objects the way we see. This habitual approach, however, is only a perspective that limits our understanding on the objects. All objects connote more meanings than our knowledge and they often imply two conflicting meanings at the same time. “Between the fresh” simultaneously reveals two conflicting objects-the real flowers and the artificial flowers, which clearly and metaphorically indicates an ambivalence of the objects.
