From throwing to glazing, this class is designed to help students make their pots better in ways that matter to them. Students will bring their ideas, insights and desires to develop their skills and understanding of pottery. The instructor will provide direction, feedback and inspiration. One-on-one instruction, working with the students' needs and intentions to develop their pots, is reinforced by demonstrations and group discussion. Students may focus on form, decoration, or surface, making a range of pots from mugs to dinnerware. This is a great class for students who have basic throwing skills. Prerequisite: Two classes of Introduction to Wheelthrowing recommended. Limited to 12 students.
