Is your toddler dynamite? Bring him/her to TNT (Top-Notch Toddlers)! TNT is a weekly drop-in series for Toddlers 17 to 30 months of age. Each week the program will include a15-minute language arts segment: activities, rhymes, simple stories, games, songs and surprises. Each toddler and her/his adult will participate as partners in these fun early literacy experiences. This segment will be followed by a playtime, with music and toys provided by the library. No registration is required for TNT. Just drop in! Each toddler must be accompanied by an adult, and siblings are not allowed to sit in. TNT will be canceled automatically on any day the Worcester Public Schools are canceled, or their openings delayed, due to inclement weather. Questions? Call 508.799.1687. In this 10 week class students will explore techniques such as simple forming, copper etching and hollow construction to create functional and sculptural small containers. Simple to advanced hinge and clasp mechanisms will be covered as students progress.
