All ages entertainment, apples, and children's crafts will highlight Tower Hill Botanic Garden's Shades of Autumn, an annual celebration of the harvest season. The Garden will be turned into a virtual farmland--complete with farm animals, and beautiful displays of garden produce and a farmer's market, and taste-testing tours (at 2pm each day) of the antique and heirloom apple orchard--with 119 varieties of pre-20th Century apples. Hot apple cider, a special harvest menu in Twigs Café (which will provide service cafeteria-style), and Massachusetts products for sale will round out the weekend.
