You know summer-like weather is really here when Tower Hill Botanic Garden's evening hours go into effect! Tower Hill visitors can now enjoy warm summer evenings every Wednesday through August 27, from 4:30 pm until 8 pm. Admission is half-price after 4:30 pm. The Gift Shop and Café are closed during extended hours, but all the gardens and trails are open. Summer evenings at Tower Hill are a real treat. As the light fades into a glorious sunset over the Wachusett Reservoir, visitors will notice fireflies emerging from the woods. Because of the nearly constant breeze at Tower Hill, unpleasant insects are rarely a problem. As the light changes, visitors will notice new shapes and shadows among the ever-changing gardens. Tower Hill becomes a new world to explore, a world of subtle colors, shapes and sounds. Evenings are a great way for those who work during the week and have busy weekends to spend a little time with the family at Tower Hill.
