All ages entertainment, apples, and children's crafts will highlight Tower Hill Botanic Garden's Shades of Autumn, an annual celebration of the harvest season. The Garden will be turned into a virtual farmland--complete with farm animals, and beautiful displays of garden produce and a farmer's market, and taste-testing tours (at 2pm each day) of the antique and heirloom apple orchard--with 119 varieties of pre-20th Century apples.
Hot apple cider, a special harvest menu in Twigs Café (which will provide service cafeteria-style), and Massachusetts products for sale will round out the weekend. Enjoy a hayride (weather permitting) through the trails!

This exhibition features furniture that is delineated in the book of prices, including three large case pieces with the three types of tops, or "heads", from least expensive to most expensive: flat, pitch pediment, and scroll pediment.
