Coinciding with the publication of his fifth book, "NONFICTION", the Schiltkamp Gallery is pleased to exhibit the photographs of Nubar Alexanian featuring the film sets of Errol Morris taken over a period of 15 years. Alexanian's focus on Morris' work spans a number of films including Fast, Cheap and Out of Control, Mr. Death, the First Person series, and Morriss current film, Standard Operating Procedure.
Nubar Alexanian is a Fulbright Fellow documentary photographer who has worked in more than 30 countries over the last 25 years focusing on long term personal projects. His work has been featured in The New York Times Magazine, Life, National Geographic, and The London Sunday Times, as well as in his five published books. His work is exhibited and collected internationally.

Chicago-Area Teenager Wins National Art Contest Sponsored by National Geographic Kids and Xeko Winfield, Illinois, resident Ulises Lopez is the Grand Prize winner of a national drawing contest sponsored by National Geographic Kids magazine and Xeko for an eco-expedition for four to Costa Rica. Ulises and three of his family members will set sail on the National Geographic Expeditions ship Sea Voyager this month. Where Fish Sticks Swim Free and Chicken Nuggets Self-Dip An installation by Banksy, the pseudonymous, secretive British artist, was unveiled on Wednesday at 89 Seventh Avenue South in Greenwich Village.

Volunteer docents conduct the tours of the SocietyÂ’s main library building called Antiquarian Hall. Located at 185 Salisbury Street, Antiquarian Hall is the third home to the Society and the site of an eighteenth-century printing press, a collection of antique furniture, portraits, and Staffordshire pottery and twenty-five miles of shelving filled with historic printed materials including a new state-of-the art book vault constructed in 2002. All of these features, plus a short film are included in the free Wednesday tours.
