Milan International Film Festival 2008 Runs April 3-14 MIFF 8th edition will take place in Milan from the 3rd to the 14th of April, 2008 with two new categories - Trade Film, a competitive category dedicated to the corporate films, and Documentary Film Category, section already part of the competition program during the first edition and reinstated in 2007.

Raku means joy or pleasure and also describes a process of firing pottery that originated in Japan. This class will explore the varied techniques of raku, a fast-fire process in which the ware is pulled red hot from the kiln and placed in a container with combustible materials such as sawdust, leaves, straw or newspaper. Colored slips and a variety of glazes will be used. Participants will partake in all aspects of the firing process. While the emphasis is on firing, forming techniques will also be addressed. All levels are welcome! Limited to 12 students.
