Chain Reaction: Building the Perfect Silver Chain (Wed, Oct 15)

In this class, students will learn to make both single and double Classical loop-in-loop chains from fine silver. Stone-setting for cabochon and faceted stones, as well as layered stone settings will be explored as part of creating both pendant and clasp pieces for these chains. Other techniques to be explored will include roll printing, working with gold, stone drilling, riveting and keum-boo. The goal of the class is to create a finished bracelet or necklace.
