This course is designed for students with beginning levels of photographic skill. Those with no previous experience will learn basic camera functions, exposure control, film development, and darkroom procedures for printing negatives. More advanced students will continue to learn the "Zone" system as a method of exposure and contrast control and as an instrument of creative subject interpretation. Critiques will be informal and ongoing.
