A wide range of classes are offered for children this summer. Parents and children ages 3-5 use painting materials and artful imaginations in Experi-paint. Come explore art, culture, and architecture in the galleries and experiment with paint, collage and more in Draw, Paint, Create for 5-7 year olds. Students ages 8-10 years old can choose from Drawing in the City or Art that Pops. Exciting computer art and cartooning classes are being offered for 11-13 year olds, and students ages 14-17 will have a chance to build their portfolio with fashion, painting or photography classes. One of our most popular classes continues to bring families together to explore the exciting world of clay! Participants learn about pinch pots, coil pots, and using slips and glazes for color. This is an opportunity for family members to have a creative connection while making wonderful and wild things together. Bring your imagination, along with each other, and join the fun! This class is limited to three members per family so that more families may participate. The same family members are requested to attend each class. Limited to 12 students.

This course takes an in-depth look at pools, streams, and aquatic plants and the basics of setting up water gardens, Kio ponds, pondless waterfalls and fountains. Topics include choosing a site, materials to use, and the role of plants. Also covered will be the history and use of garden ornaments such as fountains and statuary. Discussions will touch upon the types and styles of ornaments and furniture in the trade.
