Precious Possessions: The American Craft Collection
November 3, 2007 - June 29, 2008: Precious Possessions celebrates the breadth of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s American craft collection, with its luxurious works of art in glass, metal, clay, fiber, and wood. The objects on view demonstrate the Museum’s early commitment to contemporary craft and encompass a wide range of highlights from the collection: old favorites that have not been displayed for some time and several works that are making their first appearance in the galleries.

NYU's Grey Art Gallery Exhibition Highlights Early Works of Diebenkorn
Diebenkorn in New Mexico is the first museum examination of a seminal moment in the career of artist Richard Diebenkorn when, between 1950 and 1952, he was enrolled in the graduate fine arts department at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Supported by the G.I. Bill and distanced from the art worlds of both East and West coasts, Diebenkorn produced astonishingly mature and beautiful works that have, until now, remained relatively unknown. On view at the Grey Art Gallery at New York University from January 25 through April 5, 2008, the show includes some 40 paintings and drawings from museums and private collections, as well as from the Diebenkorn estate, many of which are being exhibited together for the first time. Milan International Film Festival 2008 Runs April 3-14
MIFF 8th edition will take place in Milan from the 3rd to the 14th of April, 2008 with two new categories - Trade Film, a competitive category dedicated to the corporate films, and Documentary Film Category, section already part of the competition program during the first edition and reinstated in 2007.

Comprised of more than 40 photographs selected from the Museum’s extensive holdings of the artist’s work, this exhibition focuses on Adams’s less-familiar landscape images in order to demonstrate his innate understanding of graphic form and balanced design.
